We released our Low-Carbon Hydrogen Strategy for Ontario, informed by feedback received on the "Ontario Low-Carbon Hydrogen Strategy" discussion paper and the Hydrogen Strategy Working Group.
On November 10, 2021, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 768/21 to permit up to 25 tiny homes in the City of Kingston.
On August 12, 2020, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O.Reg.) 447/20 to facilitate the development of housing. The Zoning Order supports the government’s initiative to enable long-term care development on government-owned lands.

We issued an Environmental Compliance Approval (air) with Limited Operational Flexibility to LANXESS Canada Co./Cie, a specialty chemical manufacturer of synthetic oil, antioxidants, rubber additives, and other specialty chemicals facility located in Elmira, Ontario.
We have made two changes to the boundary of Killbear Provincial Park. We added a large parcel of land to protect a variety of wetlands and Massassauga rattlesnake habitat, and we removed a small area to resolve an encroachment by the Township of Carling’s landfill site.
The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-24-000089 to Panoramic PGMs (Canada) Limited of Clean Air Metals Limited for early exploration activities.
The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.
On January 20, 2023 the Minister of Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 4/23. The City of Niagara Falls requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.
