   The new regulations are woefully inadequate and will not create the inclusive communities for which we are working. The proposed regulations leave the main force to a market-driven housing development sector, which will continue to drive prices up (and unrelated to actual costs).

The regulations on Inclusionary Zoning are hugely disappointing after the promise of the I.Z legislation, Contrary to U.S. experience in effective I.Z., developers contribute 10 to 20% (vs only 5%) for affordable units in exchange for benefits. Lire davantage

I am concerned by the current draft inclusionary zoning regulations. Many parts of Ontario are experiencing housing shortages, skyrocketing housing prices and increasing levels of homelessness.
