If the province wants to encourage home building, following Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment No. 6 would be a wise choice. It was approved by Regional Council in August with wide support from citizen groups, and it plans to accommodate 125,000 homes by 2031. Lire davantage

The Region of Waterloo has worked very hard with citizens to come up with a sustainable forward looking Plan. It provides for housing development while still protecting important farmland.
