I am not a leaseholder, but have visited Rondeau many, many times. The cottages are definitely a positive addition to the Park, and I strongly support the automatic extension of the leases, and additionally support a long term solution to these leaseholders. Lire davantage

I visited a cottage owner years ago, and was impressed with Rondeau not only for it's natural beauty but also for the lovely cottages that stretched along the road. I've read that there is continued debate about the cottages being allowed to renew leases or to purchase the lots. Lire davantage

Rondeau is a beautiful and environmentally rich Provincial Park. Cottagers are more than welcome in our neck of Southern Ontario and support for the proposed lease extension is a no brainer. Businesses in the surrounding area rely on the continued support and patronage of our seasonal friends.

I find it shocking that the government would even consider removing people from their homes within Rondeau Provincial Park at all. I can only imagine the mental health stressors this places on the residents there - wondering if they'll be removed from land they've occupied for decades or not. Lire davantage

In regards to ERO number 019-6142. I am in favour of extending the cottage leases to the proposed extension of December 2024 (and beyond). In my opinion, the short-term band-aid is unfair to the lease-holders and a waste of government money. Lire davantage
