My vote is no. I say this on behalf of my children and their children. Do better. No more roads to ruin the in Ontario. Don’t break the greenbelt our most precious resource.

This is complete disregard for the environment and the communities surrounding the greenbelt. This money should be invested in education, Healthcare and fighting climate change. Invest in the infrastructure we already have, don't bulldoze greenspace that is needed to protect our environment.

I strongly urge you to reconsider the removal of a portion of the Greenbelt. It is unnecessary, given the amount of land already available, and will be hugely detrimental to the environment and to our infrastructure, which is already failing to keep up with incoming populations. Lire davantage

I am extremely upset by the plan to allow protected, Ontario farmland and wetlands to be developed for housing. This is not the kind of housing Intario needs. This will not be affordable housing close to facilities that people need. Lire davantage

Given the current global environmental crisis and Canada’s environmental goals I believe that the continued protection of the green belt is of absolute necessity. The proposal to remove protection from this land will have significant negative environmental impacts that can’t be remedied by including land elsewhere instead.
