The people of Ontario do not want the Therme plan chosen for the Ontario Place site. We don't like how it was pushed through, continues to be rushed, the sneaky way it was implemented and how construction started without proper assessments or listening to our protests. Lire davantage

The current Ontario government plans for Ontario Place, allowing sewage into Lake Ontario, are a move back to the 19the century, when the first 'discoveries' were made that diseases are spread in wastewater. Lire davantage

It deeply alarms and saddens me that this government will push through on the devastation of Ontario Place for a spa never asked for and which will cost Ontarians millions of dollars. The sewage run off and complete lack of concern for the environment is beyond imaginable. Lire davantage

I used to sail out of the east end and frequently, after a storm, the water would be disgusting mixture of toxic sewage runoff and floaters such as discarded condoms and sanitary pads and other solids that were deposited in a toilet somewhere and overflowed untreated in to the lake. Lire davantage

Please take the time to do this (already ill-advised) project properly! For the health and safety of all concerned! The Ford government is in a rush (for reasons unknown) to push through the development of the Therme MegaSpa. They have accelerated the timeline by a year to May 2025. Lire davantage

As a resident of the City of Toronto and someone who uses Lake Ontario for leisure activities, I do not want to see further raw sewage being put into the lake. We already have issues with the condominiums that line the lake and the constant flooding that occurs on Front Street by Union station. Lire davantage

Mr Ford, how çan you allow raw sewage to be diverted to an area actively used by the Toronto residents, be they humans or animals. This area is prime training ground for dragon boats, among other sports. I know because I was on a dragon boat for many years. Lire davantage
