This document needs transition policies from the old Official Plan. It doesn't speak to how planning applications currently under review and submitted under the old Official Plan are to be reviewed once the new OP is in place.

This plan is of no benefit to the residents of The Town of Fort Erie. Why does this plan include property where Wildlife and Trees were cleared in anticipation for housing yet other land that once was in the Urban Boundary for development that is ready to go excluded from this current plan? Hi I’m a guy in my 20’s and I don’t like this. The housing market is already bad as it is and now will be even worse with all these new and big houses coming in. The prices will be inflated and I don’t think this will be economically sound with this new proposed plan.

I don’t agree with the plan and much prefer the plan from early 2022. It has come to my attention that because of political reasons, the land from 4337 Michener Road, Ridgeway was removed. I have always felt that was an amazing piece of land for a future sub-division with families. Lire davantage

I do not agree with the current official plan dated August 25, 2025. I believe that the urban area boundary expansion study from 2021 was a far better suited official plan for the Town of Fort Erie. Lire davantage

We cannot support Fort Erie’s current Official Plan. The previous version, which included 4337 Michener Road and the adjacent property, was far more appropriate for the future development of Fort Erie, especially in Crystal Beach, where growth is already thriving and poised to continue.

We do not agree with or support Fort Erie’s current Official Plan. The original proposal, which included 4337 Michener Road and the adjoining property, was more appropriate for Fort Erie’s future growth, especially in the rapidly developing Crystal Beach community.

Fort Erie’s current Official Plan is not one we can support. The initial plan—covering 4337 Michener Road and the adjacent lot—was better aligned with the future needs of Fort Erie and the strong growth underway in Crystal Beach, which has become a vibrant and expanding community.

I do not support this plan that Fort Erie has put forth. I believe that the original plan from 2021 which included 4337 Michener Road was far better for the residents of Fort Erie. These lands should be reinstated in this plan.
