Don’t merge the conservation authorities it’s a stupid idea. Each region has its own needs and they’re managing quite well on their own. Don’t fix what isn’t broken.

There is no need for 36 separate conservation authorities, just like there is no need for 78 school boards. Both could easily be divided into three or four parts of Ontario and could be far more effective at a fraction of the administrative overhead. Lire davantage
