I oppose the amalgamation of the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority into the Huron-Superior Regional Conservation Authority. It makes a lot more sense to retain local administration. The staff at the LRCA understands the needs of our particular region. Lire davantage

I live in Dundas Ontario. I was part of the Hamilton amalgamation. It gave Dundas nothing. Took away our own identity. Our HCA looks after what is best for us and our community. DO NOT TAKE THAT FROM US!! We all pay our taxes and we elected you! Keep your hands off our land!

As a resident of Ontario I am very concerned that this will make it harder for our conservation authorities to focus on local issues, and leave us vulnerable to flooding as a result. If you want to really improve the efficiency of Conservation Authorities, just provide them with more resources.

I strongly oppose this proposal. The 36 conservation authorities are able to work efficiently because of their smaller catchment areas which allow them to develop strong relationships with local communities and deep knowledge of the lands they conserve. Lire davantage

Greetings, That province has not provided any evidence that this action would in any way enhance user experience in our local conservation systems. Rather, there are many circumstances in which provincial meddling has lead to inefficiency and and cost the tax payer (CA users) more money. Lire davantage
