These MZOs would force extreme and reckless density on Midtown, more than double that of any comparable development in the GTA, without the infrastructure to support it; creating chaos and overwhelming transportation and services that are already overstressed, including local roads, transit, the GO Lire davantage

The economic and viability case for these MZOs and this project has collapsed. The condominium market has both collapsed and shifted, with the market no longer supporting high rise projects dominated by studios and one-bedroom units, which is the configuration this TOC proposes. Lire davantage

The proposed mzo growth for Oakville is unreasonably dense. While I definitely support growth , the Province’s plan is too dense for the restricted area, with not enough green space to support the population. We need more medium to high density housing but this proposal is too dense. Lire davantage

Oakville does not need more condos at the GO station. The traffic there is already abysmal. Please do not let this MZO to be approved. Your government will lose a LOT of votes in the next election if this Mo passes. Doug Ford, please listen.

This Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) fails to comply with Premier Ford’s Build Homes Faster agenda and will not deliver a single home before 2031, the Province’s own housing deadline, and will take 25 years to complete. OPA70 is a better alternative and is ready to go. Lire davantage

I strongly oppose the proposed development due to its anticipated impact on traffic congestion, pollution, and strain on existing infrastructure. Oakville’s roads and services are already operating at or near capacity, and this project will further reduce residents’ quality of life. Lire davantage

The proposed Minister’s Zoning Orders (MZOs) for Midtown Oakville blatantly fail to meet the Ontario government’s own post criteria for issuing MZOs. Lire davantage

I strongly disagree with the proposal. Our infrastructure can't support this huge increase in population. Oakville doesn't want to be a town full of high rise buildings.....we need to support real housing needs. Lire davantage
