Regarding the silica emissions from Stubbe's Precast: Last fall the leaves on the trees on the west end of the Burtis forest were grey and or dead. This was due to the dust emissions from Stubbes. Has this been documented? Lire davantage

I would like to also add that what is missing is respirable silica from the concrete crushing portion of the proposal. This is an important component that has wide reaching health ramifications, and so must not be ignored.

I live in the immediate area affected by this application and am strongly opposed. My rights as a homeowner should not be impeded by an industrial complex. Concrete crushing and the presence of silica dust should NOT be permitted this close to a residential neighbourhood. Lire davantage

In regards to the Stubbe application - I have some concerns about any emissions from the proposed Stubbe plant and the existing facility ,The close proximity to the 30 plus acres forest on the former Burtis farm is a concern for the vegetation and the wildlife.- perhaps some Indigenous people could Lire davantage

We have great concerns about Stubbes plant and the information we have received about changes to forms now allowing concrete to be crushed/recycled. This releases silica dust into the air and silica dust is a known carcinogenic material. Lire davantage
