Stop the greed with Wasaga beach and taking away park space! We need more not less public waterfront green parks space! All waterfront development should have public access.

Hands off our provincial parks. These are protected lands for a reason and are not for financial gain of any government or municipality. This is a slippery slope. Do not remove any lands from Any provincial parks and give them to developers to profit off of. Lire davantage

I have always gone to Wasaga Beach # 2 and I am against the government turning it over to the town. Out of town visitors use these parks and I think Beach 1 is enough for the town. Lire davantage

Wasaga Beach is so small, precious fresh water wonder in the world. Opening it up for tourism purposes will have great impact to the eco system and all residents. Lire davantage

Selling off portions of our protected spaces is completely out of alignment with our country's stated goal of protecting 30% of our lands and waters by 2030. Lire davantage

Provincial parks are protected land for a reason. Ontarians and the world over deserve green spaces to preserve and explore nature. Devleopment is important and needs to be done in areas ready for it, not at the expense of our green spaces and provincial parks. Lire davantage

Selling off provincial parks is atrocious. We have the right to access public land without a fee! We deserve the right to nature conservation for future generations. We deserve protection of wildlife over profit! Lire davantage

Not only is this damaging to Ontario residents who live in and visit Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, this bill sets a dangerous precedent for the selling of other provincial park lands. Lire davantage

This is unacceptable on so many levels. Park land is not for development. Continuing to make land available for Ford's development friends is corrupt. Our Premier should be protecting land and preserving our provincial parks for all people and the environment. Lire davantage

This is absolutely Ludacris. Why both protecting anything in the first place if it can be sold for the right price? Please don't do this. Although who knows if this comment even matters, it's a a facade right? The money has already changed hands or promises have already been made. Lire davantage

This is a land grab for the rich to take away from those that have paid for it for years!! This government is trying to steal from our rights to enjoy that provincial park and by putting more endangered species at risk! Why??? It is all to make Dougie Ford and his pals richer! Lire davantage

Public lands are a public trust. They should not be handed over to private interests. Generations of people have enjoyed Wasaga Beach and the area; that should not be taken away from them

The selling off of Provincial Park land to private corporate interests is damaging to the environment and an insult to the people of Ontario. Selling of these parks will put endangered animals and delicate environments at further risk. Lire davantage

I disagree with the sale of the provincial park land to the town of Wasaga. The environmental impact for the decades to come can not be underestimated, it would be a loss of habitat for local species and have a negative impact on the overall ecosystem of the area. Lire davantage

The idea of selling part of a provincial park that is not only heavily used but also something that provides affordable activities for people to increase tourism is putting financial benefit and investment over your population.
