Leave the Wasaga Provincial Park as is. It belongs to all the people of this province and should not be sold off to developers. There is all kinds of deeded land in the general area that they can purchase and develop and their customers can use the park along with everyone else.

"Wasaga beach is a place for everyone to enjoy, it is a provincial park, and as such should remain provincially owned and protected from environmental damage and corporate greed. Lire davantage

I don't think wasaga beach could handle anymore tourists. I haven't gone for years, because years ago it was too crowded. Lire davantage

Although the amendments are intended to benefit the municipality of Wasaga Beach with housing, roads and tourism, with removal of the land from the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, the result is likely to be an incalculable loss in value of special natural assets. Lire davantage

Do not sell our public beaches. We don't want our public spaces to be hypercommercialized and developed. Your government has shown it will blatantly overlook any environmental impact that developing this area might have. We don't want this.

I am very concerned about loosing Provincial Park land to development. Once it is gone, it is gone forever. This land is enjoyed by all, and should not be for sale. Hands off Mr Ford. I think the town of Waskaganish Beach says it best though. Town of Wasaga Beach Land Acknowledgement Statement Lire davantage

This is a terrible, short sighted idea that only caters to financial interests of developers. Wasaga is already a super popular, busy Provincial Park. Removing more than half of its area will make it more crowded and difficult to access. Plus it's a Provincial Park. Lire davantage

Disgusting to even consider developing Wasaga beach - this is a provincial park that needs to remain accessible to the general public and in its natural state, not something that should be commoditized solely for the enjoyment of the rich. Just horrible.

Please do not sell more of Ontario's publicly available land. This land isn't even yours to begin with - this is the wrong direction entirely. Either this is for the public or First Nations Peoples - not for private developers to price out and destroy our home. Lire davantage

Our provincial parks are the jewels of this province and deserve more protection, not less. Theyre one of the few places it's still affordable to go, and they preserve precious wildlife and habitats we are slowly but steadily losing.

This is an extremely BAD idea. Provincial parks were set up thoughtfully & the last thing we should be doing is dismantling any of them. This is not about increasing tourism in the area. This is about letting a few people profit from the change. Lire davantage
