Leave our parks alone. The Ford greed is relentless. Our parks is a major contributor of what makes Ontario so beautiful. Fraud needs to back off. Pig

Provincial Parks should be considered sacrosanct.  They should not be disposed of for any reason, not to municipalities, not to developers, not to Indigenous communities.  Not for any reason whatsoever.  This plan is stupid and it sets a dangerous precedent for the future of provin

Please take all sets to protect the natural resources in the area. Beach front should not be turned into a development, protected areas should be expanded. Growth should be planned within existing city limits.

In a world of climate change the importance of our public parks grows stronger and stronger, to allow people to develop those spots and take them away future generations is one of the greatest harms you can do to the province of Ontario. Lire davantage

The parks need to be kept as provincial. This way all people from all walks of life can enjoy the forests, dunes, wildlife and beach. Too many parks and beaches are becoming accessible for the wealthy only. Also the natural landscapes are being dug up and destroyed to build hardscapes. Lire davantage

I am strongly against this proposal. As Ontario grows it is already extremely challenging for people who are not wealthy enough or lucky enough to be cottage owners to get access to areas where we can enjoy lakeshores. Beaches near to densely populated areas are crowded and becoming more so. Lire davantage

I am a full-time resident of Wasaga Beach. I have been a piping plover volunteer for 13 years. I have participated in beach stewardship events such as removing phragmites, planting marram grass, picking up garbage on the beach. Lire davantage

Hello, The proposed change directly threatens Piping Plover nesting and foraging habitat. It is ironic that this is being done in the name of boosting tourism, because those plovers are literally the only reason I ever visit Wasaga Beach. Lire davantage

Wasaga Beach provincial park is public owned land for the benefit of all ontarioans. This land must not be sold and should be protected. Shame on our provincial government for even entertaining this option. Lire davantage

This is important land with wildlife and habitats that need to be taken care of the proper way, if it gets sold to the town of wasaga, they won’t have the ability to take of the land the way it is now. Please keep the land how it is now.

Wasaga beach os home to an areas of wildlife that depend on the protection of the government from development. Changing the waterfront and potentially building closer to it will only negatively impact the ecosystem. Wasaga is actively building townhomes, condos and other places of residence. Lire davantage

No, it should stay in the control of the province. Protect our natural habitats and shoreline. There are plenty of other places to build local. Ontario patrols then, monitors them would Wasaga beach do the same and if so who pays for that not the Ontario government anymore.

No to this proposal. There's no justification for removing 60 Percent of Wasaga beach PP beach area. This smells of the greenbelt sell off. Stop doing these get rich quick schemes and get the health services fixed. Lire davantage

Due to the previous lack of transparency in the current government's' business dealings, it would be a disservice to the public if this land was sold to private operators where the general public would lose their say in how the land is operated. The land should remain public!

I object to Doug Ford’s ongoing efforts to transfer public spaces (especially parks, beaches and natural areas) from the public to the benefit of private developers. Leave public spaces public. Lire davantage
