Provincial government should stop meddling with municipal affairs. Let the municipality decide where and when to add new bike lanes. I do not approve of bill 60 being passed.

Premier Ford, you are acting just like Trump in your overriding of municipal autjprity .The answer to clogged highways and city streets is not tunneld but intensive investment in public transportation, with a partner unlike Metrolinx with its failures in completion and operation, that can execute a Lire davantage

I oppose this bill 60 as bike lines are GOOD for cities, and we need fewer cars taking up our nice streets. More lanes for cars just means more congestion for cars (induced demand) and less safe alternatives for people looking to commute using greener means of travel such as biking. Lire davantage

The measures in Bill 60, the "Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act", to ban new bike lanes that remove a lane of vehicular traffic and possibly banning other purposes for removing lanes of vehicular traffic is handcuffing municipalities from making meaningful decisions about the use of public infras Lire davantage

I’m appalled by the measures in Bill 60, the so-called “Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act.” This legislation doesn’t fight delays and instead it actively obstructs progress. Lire davantage

Toronto, Ontario, Canada needs more modes of transports and needs it now. We don't need to wait for the spending on millions and billions while the cycling infrasturcure exists and should grow. Stop this bill from taking away an accessible Ontario

Biking is extremely efficient, eco friendly and easy. Bike lanes are essential for the safety of bikers and to help reduce traffic and carbon emissions. I hate that we are such a car dependent society, it is inefficient, terrible for the environment and creates terrible traffic. Lire davantage

I am not in support of Bill 60. It is not fighting delays it is removing alternative modes of transportation. The best way to fight traffic delays is to get citizens out of their cars and using alternative moves of transportation and those modes of transportation must be safe to use. Lire davantage

Municipalities deserve to be able to plan and design their roads as they and their residents seem fit. Removing that right removes local control unesesarily. Lire davantage

I think this would be a huge step backwards! Biking reduces traffic and pollution!! It should be the preferred choice before using a car whenever possible! It also improves physical fitness.

Bicycle lanes are of utmost importance for a variety of reasons. Encouraging people to use alternatives to cars reduces congestion and pollution as well as promoting an active lifestyle. It makes roads safer. We need to take time to plan for new building that will best serve the community. Lire davantage

Disagree with the bill. If studies show more efficient and safe use of removing auto lanes in priority of bike lanes, then they should be allowed to proceed. Same goes for the other way, if studies show bike lanes are not benefiting traffic/safety, then they should be up for discussion for removal.

We need MORE bike lanes and MORE active transportation infrastructure if we are going to have less car traffic - it's just common sense! I demand the province provide robust public transportation and safe access to active transportation infrastructure - our lives and our planet depend on it! Lire davantage

I am a senior (67 yrs) who uses Toronto's bike lanes as often as I can. This past week I was able to head downtown 6 times by bike, and the bike lanes on Bloor, College, University, Roncesvalles and other streets made that experience both more enjoyable and considerably safer. Lire davantage

This proposal is vindictive and senseless. The government is ignoring all evidence that bike lanes are GOOD for congestion as well as being environmentally friendly and increasing safety for all. This decision flies in the face of evidence and common sense. Lire davantage

This bill is not going to do what it says it wants. It will not reduce traffic congestion. The proven way to reduce traffic congestions is two-fold. Lire davantage
