This is clearly your plan to take the authorities, under-fund them and then try to sell off key land or water when they lack the resources to manage them under privatization. How about you stick to alcohol and stickers and leave our perfectly functional system alone.

I don’t support this amalgamation of Conservation Authorities. I don’t believe someone 1800 km should be making decisions here in Thunder Bay. Our ecosystems are unique to our area and any decisions that would affect them in anyway should be made locally.

I had an unsatisfying interaction with a local Conservation Authority. The organization was Grey Sauble Conservation Authority - they took a payment for trees to be planted in the region and then refused to follow up, answer e-mails, or provide trees. Lire davantage

I am not in support of the amalgamation of Conservation Authorities to ‘better align with provincial priorities.’ It is important that local conservation authorities serve as a voice for their local area, advocating for environmental protections, unique to each area.
