Oh, did the habitats of endangered species get in the way of your corrupt plans for selling off of Ontario public lands to wealthy friends and esteemed wedding guests? Doug Ford is a petty little man who can eat my shorts. Read more

I am opposed to Bill 5. Any bill that looks to ovveride rights and laws and lets corporations have free reign is dangerous and undemacratic. Please do not pass this bill for the well being of all Ontarians.

I do not feel that the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act and the proposed Species Conservation Act adequately protect the environment, biodiversity, or the citizens of Ontario, who need and deserve a healthy environment to ensure our future health and prosperity. Read more

I oppose Bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.

I am currently a resident of Oshawa, Ontario, having grown up in Ajax and living in Toronto during university. I abhor this bill and the way in which the Ford government seems perfectly happy to destroy Ontario's environment for the profit of himself, his friends, and other rich developers. Read more

This is an awful idea. Time in such matters is irrelevant. Quick decisions will have irreversible negative impact on environment, ecosystem, negative effects on Indigenous communities, just to name a few… so short sighted. Tho k of our nation, Canada and our environment - not money for a change.

Removing the advisory board and permitting the government to remove species from a protected list is short-sighted. Further, allowing development to proceed without a permit could certainly lead to degraded habitats and harm to populations that may never recover.
