I believe removal of any environmental protections will cause harm to the existing wildlife and biodiversity we have in ontario. This biodiversity helps make Ontario a great place to live. It is not the industries that do.

I don't want this bill to be passed at all! This wreckd havoc on the Ontario ecosystem and as the youth of your state, i m always depressed because of the current climate change conditions. And with bills like these, i get even more depressed. PLEASE don't pass this bill.

There are countless ways in which Bill 5 will allow for disaster decisions made in haste that trample the inherent rights of Indigenous peoples and endanger the natural ecosystem. Please do not follow through with this under the guise of supporting Canada in the face of Trump. Read more

I oppose Bill 5. I want strong environmental protections. I oppose short cuts for industry. I want thorough consultation with First Nation communities for industry projects in their traditional territories, and approval only if they consent. Read more

I am horrified that you are going to change the Endangered Species Act. As an educator (Environmental Science Specialists, Biology Specialist and Chemistry Specialist) I am very concerned about the damage that these changes will cause.

I am disgusted and disappointed with the idea of scraping laws set in place to protect our environment and endangered species. I am and vote against the proposal of the "Dresden dump" and the passing of Bill 5. I do not support either. Read more
