As a resident of Wasaga Beach, ON, I am deeply opposed to any Provincial Park beach areas to be acquired by the Town of Wasaga Beach. The entire beach must be maintained and managed by the province with consistency and uniformity. Read more

Giving away public land to a 'for profit' development is wrong. Public land should remain public. Although people are talking about improvements such as washrooms there is nothing stopping the Province from installing proper washrooms for the public to use. Read more

Please don't sell half of Wasaga Beach for tourism! It is important as a natural park now where wildlife (endangered piping plovers!) can live without harm.

Keep Nancy Island the way it is! Make a statement to the community that the government will stand with the locals and stand against the increased commercialization of a historic and iconic town. Let the community and the townsfolk of Wasaga Beach decide what happens with their town. Read more

This is a terrible idea. The Town of Wasaga does not possess the expertise to properly manage the environmental aspect of the territory it would acquire. Secondly, local politicians are vulnerable to special interests and especially, the Land developers. STOP!! Read more

We need to be preserving our environment, nature and wildlife. Not destroying it and paving it over. Our provincial parks are sacred and what makes our Province unique and inviting Do not destroy that !!
