I'm an Ontario voter who acknowledges the needs to diversify our economy and build infrastructure and housing. I also strongly agree with scientists in Ontario and all over the world who stress the urgent need to protect our ecosystems in order to minimize damage to our economy. Read more

LEAVE WASAGA BEACH ALONE. The park is already busy enough we do not need more buildings taking up space where the actual beach is that people go to enjoy. STOP BUILDING for Christ's sake LEAVE OUR PROVINCIAL PARKS ALONE. Do not develop these areas. Protect these areas.

Do not privatize parkland. There is more than adequate private land available for development. In particular, do not privatize Wasaga Beach parkland.

This proposal is a gross abuse of power. Our parks were set aside to ensure protection of all species and ensure public access for future generations of Ontarians. Public land, especially parks should not be sold off under any circumstance. Read more

I oppose this transfer of provincial park land that includes endangered species habitat to the township of Wasaga Beach. The township is not equipped with the knowledge or the funds to properly support the Piping Plovers and their incredibly sensitive and rare habitats. Read more

Keep the parks in the hands of the province. No condos on current park lands. The parks are for everyone, not for the few. No trust in current council to protect our parks. We’re counting on the province to protect parks. No favours for buddies. Read more
