Wasaga beach must be kept public. There is absolutely no excuse for sacrificing this land for development. I am extremely opposed to this proposal. Keep it green space. Keep it public. Stop choosing the short, lazy routes to money at the cost of everyone else. Read more

I do not support removing the island, beaches or provincial park from parks canada or the transfer or redevelopment of the areas shown within your map.

Absolutely not! It's bad enough what's happening to the main strip on Wasaga. Keep our volleyball courts and stop destroying everything about that beach!

As an avid user of the provincial parks, I absolutely do not support this amendment. Provincial parks, and the acts associated with them, are important for protecting and preserving important ecosystems and local history. Read more

Do not transfer any park land to municipalities. They do not have expertise, experience, or desire to maintain parkland. This land is vital in the fight against climate change. This town council only want to line their pockets with money from developers. They are corrupt. Read more

Our provincial parks are not for sale, and extinction is not a price we’re willing to pay for tourism marketing.

Wasaga Beach should be under the ministry of tourism supervision and legislatures due to the fact that it is a beach destination for tourists rather than a provincial park per say. Read more

This province needs to stop giving public land to the highest bidder. Do not transfer this amazing public resources to a city and state holders who just care about their own revenue. Our wonderful environment should be protected and accessible to all not those that can pay for a fancy resort. Read more
