I strongly oppose the proposed amendments that would allow for the sell-off of more than 600 acres of Wasaga Provincial Park. This land is not only ecologically sensitive, home to endangered species, but also a vital public resource that brings over 1.3 million visitors annually. Read more

I am sooooo disappointed in the Ford government when it comes to environmental issues. Our climate is contributing to the destruction of our planet at an alarming rate and somehow, ford and his cronies have blinders on. Read more

This is not okay. For years the beach has been for the public to enjoy. I spent so many hours there as a child, it was always so bright and beautiful. Read more

This is an egregious example of yet another corrupt Ford cash-grab. I wonder who benefits from these choices, as it is definitely not regular Ontarians. Please stop selling off stuff for immediate one-time gain, it is so short-sighted and beggars the world we are leaving to our children. Read more

Please stop selling provincial land and start preserving and improving our public land for present and future generations. I am concerned about the lack of environmental concern and focus on “making development priority”. Read more

Please protect our provincial parks! Those natural habitats are precious and should not be sold off. Develop smarter in already developed areas. These delicate ecosystems have inherent value. I’m upset to learn the laws protecting them are at risk.

I do not support any development of these vital habitats. The Provincial parks arn't there to be developed. They are there to protect and preserve our environment for us and future generations to enjoy.

Absolutely not! Quick and dirty money from developers is worth nothing compared to generations of people enjoying this Provincial Park and the life of the flora and fauna within

This has to stop. Progress is moving forward, protecting animal habitats for the good of everyone, leaving beaches and woods recreational areas for the health and wellbeing of Ontarians. There has to be a way to build without destroying natural assets. Focus on brownfield. Read more
