This plan is so shortsighted and puts the people and environment of Ontario dead last. Wasaga Beach needs to stay a complete Provincial Park and not sold off to developers. Read more

This is how we burn the world and make climate change worse and fuel temporary and unsuccessful tourism and spaces geared only to those who can afford to live there, which is not me or anyone I know. Please do not do this. Read more

This is an appalling land grab and over reach, Trumpian in its arrogance. This will decimate important ecological lands all over the province. Lands that give us clean water, air, and protect us from flooding, and pollution. Why is the government in favour of filthy air and water and floods? Read more

Continuing to destroy habitat of endangered, or at risk species will ensure that future generations won't have access to truly natural places. Developed, groomed, or manicured green spaces aren't nature. Read more

I oppose the sale of Crown-owned lands within Beach Areas and Provincial Parks. These spaces belong to the public and should not be sold for profit to the highest bidder. Public access to green spaces, parks and beaches needs to be protected. Read more

The proposed changes infringe on the rights and heritage of Ontarians. Unlike childhood homes which we leave, get sold, sometimes demolished, our Provincial Parks are sites we can visit our entire lives, as children, young adults, parents and grandparents. Read more

Provincial parks belong to everyone in Ontario and protect our environment, health, and futures. These lands should remain public and protected for future generations. If greater investment is needed on Wasaga Beach, more money should be put into the parks system for maintenance.

Does this government and its leader, Doug Ford have no bottom when it comes to ruining public services and freedoms? How dare he attempt to undo this longstanding and crucial public resource. Wasaga beach is for THE people not SOME people.

This government has a penchant for sacrificing natural spaces enjoyed by the people of Ontario to developers who seek profit and not preservation of the land for the use of all citizens. If the purpose is to grow the town of Wasaga Beach economically, there are other ways to do that. Read more

Doug Ford, keep your hands off of our Provincial Parks and Wasaga Beach! You are no better than Donald Trump who is attacking US National Parks.
