The minimum of 46 affordable units is appalling. The maximum of 210 should be the minimum. We should not have a net loss of affordable housing so developers can profit from a high rise in a residential neighbourhood. We need this to get moving. The property is an eyesore. Read more

I've lived in Hamilton all my life. I currently live in the Hamilton Central riding near Gore Park. This development being delayed is a stain on Hamilton's history at this point. We have a clear need for more affordable housing. CN rail's ability to halt progress for more housing is detestable.

As a long time resident of the North End it has been disappointing to see this community not make use of this land and see the dwelling fall further into disrepair while people are suffering unhoused. Any development on this site should be as close to 100% community housing as possible. Read more

With the current lack of housing , this plain and simply seems like a brilliant solution. There is no point in leaving this property vacant when it could be utilized to facilitate homes for such a vast variety of people in different situations. Everyone deserves a home.
