Please fast track Janesville. We desperately need housing in Hamilton. This place has been sitting empty for 10 years. We urgently need housing for the heath and wellbeing of all Hamilton residents.
CN's position that they're concerned about future complaints about noise, and odour is ridiculous. If that were the case then they should have appealed the process of allowing people already living in the area, and areas even closer to their yard.

Please approve Mayor Horwath's request for a Minister's Zoning Order. Hamilton has an affordable housing crises, with more people living on the street than ever before. I don't pretend to understand why CN has a legal right to block the project.

This proposal should provide a minimum of 50% subsidized housing. Also, community amenities (parks, grocery stores with pharmacies, laundromat, and other services) should be available.
The Jamesville project has been an absolute disgrace to see. As someone who lived blocks away from the area for several years, I am disappointed in the delays that have happened. It’s invited vandalism and anti-social behaviour into a neighbourhood that is already underfunded.

Jamesville has been delayed for too many years. It definitely brings our property values down as what buyer would want this view. Last night at 7:00 pm a coyote came from Jamesville and ran down the middle of our street and ran right into Bay Street Park.
