Why on earth does this provincial government seem to be hell-bent on despoiling, endangering or destroying as much natural heritage as it can possibly get away with? At risk species of birds must be protected so they don't become extinct! Read more

I am writing to express my STRONG opposition to the proposed regulatory changes under the Species Conservation Act (SCA), in particular the removal of 106 currently listed endangered and threatened species from protection, as well as the weakening of multiple environmental safeguards. Read more

The Province must not remove species at risk that are on the Federal list. We must do everything we can and make the laws mandatory, not voluntary, to protect our wildlife. Voluntary laws have no consequence and are meaningless. Read more

This is another irresponsible effort which puts the environment at risk. How can we stress enough that whether the economy (and Minister Fords cronies) are profitable or not, we LIVE IN OUR ENVIRONMENT AND DEPEND ON IT TO SUSTAIN OUR OWN LIVES. Each species supports the ones around it. Read more

Bill 5 is one of the worst omnibus bills in present day. As our natural resources continue to be exploited, ridiculous tunnels continue to be built, and biodiversity is being lost at astounding rates, this act pushes us in the exact opposite direction of what we should be moving towards. Read more
