I do not support this proposal. Rather than significantly weakening protections for species at risk, this government should be safeguarding biodiversity, respecting Indigenous rights and ensuring local communities benefit from the ecosystem services that nature freely provides. Read more

I do not want these animals removed from the endangered species list! Repeal Bill-5 immediately. We, as Canadians' care about the environment and the animals in it. Do the right thing and stop Bill-5.

Please please don't do this. Getting more donor and industry money will never fix the damage that is going to be wrought by allowing developers to destroy habitats without restraint. We don't need more suburbs. We need to not loose anymore of our native species and habitats. Read more

Protecting at-risk birds in Ontario and Canada is important to me, my family, community and future generations. As a citizen of Ontario, I believe my government should protect birds. It should not be up to individuals and communities. This is not good enough. Read more

I think this proposal should be completely abandoned. Any changes to the protection of threatened and endangered species act that do not bolster protections are a grave threat to biodiversity and the habitability of Toronto. Read more

We need to strengthen protections for wildlife and the environment, not ease or remove them. Anything that will make it more challenging for our wildlife to survive and environment to thrive will be disasterous for us all.

I oppose these changes. Bill 5 should be repealed. These changes would cause irreparable consequences to ecosystems for the sake of lining the pockets of corporations and politicians. This is a heinous violation of our duty as humans to act as caretakers of nature. Read more
