Hi, I disagree with the amendments to the Bill 5, especially pertaining to the endangered species. I think it is an unacceptable legislation with regards to our responsibility towards the future generations and the rest of the species on Earth. Thank you for your consideration.

No, no, no. This Bill is not an improvement and does not reduce redundancies. It's gutting protections for species at risk! This bill in particular: - isn’t set up to protect and recover species - eschews science Read more

I do not support Bill 5, as a resident of Ontario I am gravely concerned about the future of our endangered species, and have no faith in our current elected officials to run the province in the best intrest of the public.

I do not support this proposal. Rather than significantly weakening protections for species at risk, this government should be safeguarding biodiversity, respecting Indigenous rights and ensuring local communities benefit from the ecosystem services that nature freely provides. Read more

I Am against this proposal. Especially the definitions and protections for habitats. It is not based in science or any real policy, these arbitrary and meant to deteriorate habitats and linkages between them, with direct impairment to species at risk, and species in general. Read more

I am not in favor of these amendments. These amendments would allow development to encroach on protected areas, but would have impacts down the line that we aren't even aware of that would cost Ontario's money. Read more

This is ridiculous… removing endangered animals off the endangered animal without justifying why is whack. A very human centered approach. There’s a lot more to this world than us humans. Other animals survive live just fine without us, WE are the reason they’re endangered. Read more

I thoroughly oppose the amendments proposed. I want Ontario's nature to thrive and the proposed amendments would be be detrimental to our environment. Find other more sustainable solutions to support the longevity of our current and future generations.
