The road dust and other fugitive emissions makes the west end a dirty stinky area and i grew up in Bayview. It's never stunk so much as now. The particulates, and gases/dust in the air explains why there is so much cancer in this city. Read more

I am submitting this article as an example of how this posting is being presented to the community by the local media. Unfortunately this was published only a few hours before the current deadline. The lack of detail is frustrating and undermines the purpose of commenting on this ECA. Read more

Please no more increases to Algoma steels pollution. It is difficult enough for the citizens to balance the significant adverse health effects at the plants present output, with a healthy life. How much cancer are we expected to welcome? How much black smoke are we expected to live under?

As a resident of the Sault, and better yet one who lives in close proximity to the plant, I hope these exceptions are denied. I already wake up every morning with a vehicle full of some type of particulate that I have to wash off every day. Read more

This is poorly written and it does not state what the exact changes are being proposed. All details should be included with nothing left out for transparency. Sault Ste. Marie residents deserve that as it affects our health and our environment.
