This bill cannot pass. This completely thwarts the protection of nature, Indigenous rights, and public trust in government. We want a green and clean Ontario where nature and our people can thrive. We must protect Ontario's unique species and beauty. Read more

Absolutely leave this alone! These changes will be disastrous to all species!! Doug Ford's is mad to think competition with Trump's Tariffs is worth destroying our environment and the animals of our ecosystems. Read more

Don’t do this, doing things fast doesn’t mean better. Please don’t destroy our planet, they matter just as much as we do. Don’t let the next generations only learn about these animals through history books.

Leave these be!! Environment and species are to be protected, not left suffering or extinct because folks want an easier and potentially detrimental route around buliding things!

This Bill is despicable. Ford and his conservatives need to think about something other than themselves for once. Wildlife is already at risk due to the disgusting actions of humans. Read more

As a life-long citizen of Ontario, I am very strongly opposed to Bill 5 and the consequences it will have on our future. Please do not put profits over everything else. This is a short-sighted goal that affects far too many people in the long run. Read more

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding Bill 5 and the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act (ESA). As a resident of Ontario, I believe it is critical that we continue to prioritize the protection of our province's wildlife and natural ecosystems. Read more

I do not support these changes. I believe there is tremendous value to keeping the Endangered Species Act and preserving nature and Indigenous rights. Giving the government the right to use economic zones as a way to disrupt nature is not the way to pursue economic growth sustainably.

I care about the future of species at risk and want to see wetlands, forests and grasslands be protected to conserve biodiversity in this province. The changes being proposed to the endangered species act and the species conservation act are NOT acceptable and should NOT go forward.

Unnecessary delays for infrastructure is NOT a reasonable excuse to damage the environment we live in, knowing that species who require that environment, especially endangered ones, could be at risk of extinction

I am strongly against this proposed change. The result of changing the Endangered Species act as proposed will be that project proponents aren’t as likely to mitigate harm or protect and achieve an overall benefit to the habitat. Read more
