We all know what the real goal of this bills is. This is a blatant disregard of the land, the wildlife’s that are indefensible to a healthy ecosystem. There’s enough ugly condo buildings in Ontario, affordable housing doesn’t depend on building more unregulated and non rent controlled condos. Read more

This bill is incredibly harmful to Ontario’s wildlife and indigenous people, and an affront to democracy by creating special economic zones that give the Premier the authority to green-light mines, highways, and clear cuts with no oversight. Read more

Although I have not read all the details of the subject legislation or proposed amendments, in these times of climate change, massive growth in southern Ontario and common natural habitat destruction, I do not feel reducing the existing controls is a signal of wise government. Read more

Destroying or negatively changing The Endangered Species Act is woefully wrong. It should not even be an option. Who, in their right minds, decides to place these species at risk? No politician and or political party should be allowed to do this. It should always be illegal to do such a thing. Read more

passing this act would be allowing human destruction at its finest. I'm not sure what is wrong with humans who need to take over and destroy the most vulnerable instead of protecting them and ensuring their survival. Read more

I do not support these changes. They could cause irreparable harm to the environment and to Ontario's green spaces. It is more important than ever to help protect nature, our natural resources, and the environment. Please don't pass these amendments.

What is going on here? "Voluntary" site remediation? How about don't destroy it in the first place? Immediate ability to begin site work? So they can later say " Oh sorry about that. Shall I pay a small fie now and it will all be OK?" Read more
