Please don't do this! We need to protect our habitat or everything else won't matter. Please don't prioritize subdivisions and highways over green space and animals. Residents of Ontario do not want these changes that removes safety measures for the planet that is already so vulnerable. Read more

Please reconsider this, we will lose much more wildlife than we already have. If Doug Ford goes ahead with this bill without the proper environment considerations, it will be disastrous for the flora and fauna of our province.

I would like to see the postings of the environmental scientists reports on why this needs to be done? How will it further protect wildlife? How will these changes undermine our ability to protect them? Until you answer these questions, this proposal does NOT have my support.

I oppose Bill 5 and this government’s lack of communication of its plan to the public. This change does not support the environment and is another attempt to sell off the environment. Read more

This is not a good idea. Building houses and infrastructure without taking the time to understand the environment it is being built on results in cataclysmic environmental events, failing infrastructure because it’s working against the environment and not with it. Read more

As Canadians, we have and always should do all we can to protect our environment. Yes, we need land to build housing, but we must put the environment and the animals who live in our green spaces as a top priority. Read more
