I opposed bill 5. We need more environmental protection for our endangered species, not less! This will only serve industry and not our local wildlife. We need to protect all our relations, including the animals that make Canada their home. Read more

I strongly oppose Bill 5 because it guts essential environmental protections and undermines public participation. By exempting many infrastructure projects from environmental assessments and removing public rights of appeal, the bill silences communities and puts ecosystems at risk. Read more

I'm vehemently opposed to Bill 5. It would strip away key environmental protections vital to our future. It is designed to ensure projects such as Premier Doug Ford's proposed tunnel under Highway 401 and critical mineral mining in northern Ontario get done with little resistance. Read more

Bills that scrap protections for our wild life should never be entertained. We all need our environment to be healthy and balanced for us all to survive. We should be focusing on how we can better integrate with the natural world around us, not bulldoze over it. Read more

This is not going to protect this priceless asset of Ontario’s, our wildlife and nature. The current system can be improved with more employees to process the permits, and using AI tools to make the process faster. It could also be made easier.
