I am strongly opposed to Bill 5. In the year 2025 we need stronger environment protection policies - not relaxing them for profit. I oppose creating zones where these laws can be overriden by industry. Read more

This act is not in the best interest of the citizens, habitats and resources of Ontario. It only serves to benefit business interests and puts our vulnerable species at risk. We cannot prioritize money over the health of this land we, and many other beings call home.

I oppose bill 5. Environmental protections are important and should not be removed in favour of cuts for industry without public oversight. Endangered species must be protected and we should not neglect the environment.

NO, no no! As a tax payer and resident of Ontario I am 100% against this change that can only benefit developers. We need to look after the environment and keep in mind the wisdom of our First Nations…“we do not inherit this land from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children’. Read more

This is a terrible idea. Endangered species of flora and fauna need to be protected to the max. A healthy environment is imperative for the human race to function and flourish. Corporations are not philanthropists.Greed has to stop being the point of life. Read more

Bill 5 must not go ahead. It is a collection of moves to decimate Ontario’s protected and endangered species. It gives the Ontario government unprecedented Trump-style power to do anything anywhere anytime regardless of existing legislation and municipal bylaws.
