I strongly oppose the proposed changes in ERO #025-0380. Weakening the Endangered Species Act in favour of short-term economic gain puts Ontario’s biodiversity and long-term sustainability at risk. Read more

This Bill is egregious and is going to destroy ecosystems. Without consultation with experts, you are giving developers the green light to bypass environmental safeguards just to build regardless of the long-term consequences. Read more

Caring for the natural world should come before offering the wealthy the chance to increase their bank balances. Because despite all the talk of existing legislation taking too long or being ineffective, that’s what this proposed change is about. Read more

Completely disagree with this reversal of 20 years protection. We need to cherish and support our fellow earthlings, not wipe them out under the guise of affordable housing and business interests. Shameful proposal Read more

While I support making the construction approval process more efficient, I do not believe this should come at the expense of the environment. Decisions affecting our natural ecosystems should be guided by scientists and experts—not developers or bureaucrats. Read more

Strongly disagree with the proposal and changes involved. It should be in our best interests to keep these lands untouched. We should all do our part to help preserve what's left of our natural settings and wildlife.
