I'm worried that this will create more opportunities for Ministerial discretion that favours big business and is contrary to the public interest. Lire davantage

Don't refund fees. Just make select approvals automatic...like they do in Minnesota. (Subject to default conditions.) Lire davantage

This bill is not nearly bold enough. We need 4plexes as of right now. Remove parking minimums. Relax built form guidelines and by laws. Need 1.5m homes built in 10 years.

How is this ERO considered public consultation when Bill 109 has already received royal assent on April 14? The Government has already made a decision on the proposal without giving the public the least amount of time to respond to such proposal (March 30 to April 29). Lire davantage

This bill doesn’t address homelessness, increasing rent, sprawl and its effects on communities and the environment, increased taxes for hiring more people to deal with fee refunds. I don’t agree with fast development with no guarantee of anything. Lire davantage

While most Ontarians recognize the current crisis in housing affordability and welcome the government's attempts at ameliorating the current state of affairs I wonder if the remedies proposed in the Homes for Everyone Act, 2022 are not at cross purposes and contradictory. Lire davantage

What is the point of commenting when the bill is already passed? Received Royal Assent yesterday. This is so incredibly disappointing.

I would like to see this legislation introduce fines for developers who do not initiate the building process within a specified time period. Some municipalities have thousands of approved residential permits that have been approved for a while and that builders are not acting on. Lire davantage

seems extremely contradictory that the Minister can 'stop the clock' on OPA applications going through MMAH but the municipalities are being legislated to meet extremely tight timelines and will be penalized monetarily if those timelines can't be met
