If the goal of the legislative package is to drastically increase the amount of affordable housing available, then a five-percent maximum for affordable units in a development is far too low. Ten percent would be a more reasonable number to effectuate the goal. Lire davantage

From a developer's perspective capping the set aside rate provides stability and consistency amongst projects in different municipalities. In our opinion, this will allow more IZ units to be built then trying to re-tool every project to work with a different number of units, etc.
