We are definitely OPPOSED and very concerned about this proposal, especially as it is a Category 3 permit. Our water supply is currently adequate but we have neighbours close by that already do not have this essential resource. Lire davantage

We are vehemently opposed to this proposal. This is an unjustifiable amount of water to be removing and will profoundly affect the water-table in our area. 3,934,600 litres per day!! For 10 years!! Absolutely not a sustainable practice. Lire davantage

Is this related to expansion of the 401 highway? There needs to be transparency re why this is a Category 3 permit, whereas some of the individuals involved are stating it is just for the removal of pooled rain water. How is that handled now, then? Why is a new permit required? Lire davantage
