This bill must be stopped. Creating SEZs will harm Ontarians in the long run by allowing foreign investors to financially benefit from reduced taxes and reduced regulations, meanwhile small and local businesses outside the SEZs are held to a jigger standard of regulation and permitting. Every step this country takes is a step in the wrong direction. I understand the need to increasing construction speed, especially in the need for economic development, but there are necessary steps needed to ensure projects are successful short and long term.
