Please stop exempting projects and eroding the EAA. Environmental Assessments look at the impacts of a project on the natural environment, cultural heritage, and on social and economic factors as well. They weigh benefits and costs, and discover ways to mitigate risks and impacts. Lire davantage

Removing the need for an environmental assessment ignores the need for indigenous consent and ignores the treaties. Plus, the peat bogs are a huge carbon sink and disturbing them will threaten our climate needs. Respect present and future generations and reject this proposal.

I'm really worried about Bill 5. I'm worried that it will override conscious decisions originally made to protect endangered species, the environment and human rights. Nothing is worth sacrificing these decisions.
