I believe that it is important to keep conservation authorities separate. Local governance is important as these employees of these conservation authorities have specialized knowledge of their specific area. this is likely to be lost in translation moving to an amalgamated system.

respectfully, this is a terrible idea. this will not speed up housing building, and in fact could ruin any builds if built in flood prone areas, plus tarnish conservation efforts that have been made over the course of decades. I do not support this.

Consolidating the Conservation Authorities would be a mistake. It is unclear what problem the provincial government is trying to solve in doing this. The existing conservation authorities work well. Leave them alone.

Like all other proposals and legislation by this provincial government, amalgamation of the conservation authorities is ludicrous. The separate conservation authorities were not mandated to work under a small group. Each of these areas across this beautiful province are unique. Lire davantage
