A high density development at the Oakville Go Station is completely missing any planning logic. 1. It will add thousands of commuters to trains and QEW traffic , that is already overloaded. Lire davantage

We have lived in oakville for 46 years. At the present time, the “newly built” oakville trafalgar hospital is already overcrowded. Our roads are full of traffic. We do NOT have the infrastructure on Trafalgar Road to accommodate >1,000 people trying to get to their jobs! Lire davantage

Adopt Town of Oakville's OPA 70; No MZOs Railroading the Town of Oakville's Council and Residents regarding the Mid-Town Oakville Redevelopment through a series of MZOs is *completely unacceptable.* Lire davantage

These MZOs would force extreme and reckless density on Midtown, more than double that of any comparable development in the GTA, without the infrastructure to support it; creating chaos and overwhelming transportation and services that are already overstressed, including local roads, transit, the GO Lire davantage

We are absolutely opposed to increasing the density of Mid-town Oakville. It runs contrary to Premier Ford’s Plan; this proposed mid-town development will void the “Town of Oakville” environmental and infrastructure operating plan and its present execution. Lire davantage

Why are Oakville residents, our municipal elected representatives and even Minister Crawford's voices, autonomy and comprehensive research regarding the MZO's and TOC being ignored? Lire davantage

The Distrikt proposal for the Oakville TOC is not a viable plan. The proposal is incredibly dense and largely composed of very small condominium units (over half are under 600 feet) that no one wants to live in. Lire davantage

This Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) fails to comply with Premier Ford’s Build Homes Faster agenda and will not deliver a single home before 2031, the Province’s own housing deadline, and will take 25 years to complete. OPA70 is a better alternative and is ready to go. Lire davantage

These MZOs represent a profound override of local democracy and would force extreme and reckless density on Midtown - an area without the infrastructure to support it. The area already experiences extreme traffic congestion and hazardous conditions during peak commuting hours. Lire davantage

I find it rather offensive that, in a supposedly "free society", the Provincial Govt. feels that it has the authority to over rule decisions made at the local level. Lire davantage

This process is ill advised for many reasons. Traffic congestion will be untenable , for one. There is already gridlock on Trafalgar Rd, QEW and Cornwall during rush hour No consideration is being given to green space in the proposal. Lire davantage
