Hello, As a resident and homeowner in Oakville for 40 years, I have seen the town grow tremendously. We brought up our children, coached sports, and participated in a variety of Oakville activities over the years. Lire davantage

This Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) fails to comply with Premier Ford’s Build Homes Faster agenda and will not deliver a single home before 2031, the Province’s own housing deadline, and will take 25 years to complete. OPA70 is a better alternative and is ready to go. Lire davantage

Oakville Mid-town Development. Oakville needs family-oriented, complete-community housing. The Oakville Mid-Town project will not proceed for at least five years, so there is no urgency or justification for imposing these MZOs now. Lire davantage

The proposed use of Minister’s Zoning Orders in Midtown Oakville represents a fundamental abuse of an extraordinary provincial power. MZOs were never intended to shortcut local planning where a municipality already has an approved, provincially compliant growth plan. Lire davantage

I agree totally with the following: he Auditor General of Ontario has raised serious concerns (link) about how Minister’s Zoning Orders (MZOs) are being used. If you share these concerns, act now! "MZOs have been used to override municipal zoning" Lire davantage

Oakville does NOT need a heavy handed MZO approach to development. Will this be yet another Ford/Developer buddy investigation and reversal? How about some common sense?? Lire davantage

I am quite angry at the amount of time I have had to spend on a proposal that residents of Oakville oppose and all of us have repeatedly indicated is density that is ill-advised, will destroy the fabric of Oakville and is not wanted. For some reason residents like me are being ignored. Lire davantage
