Premier Ford, Do you have permission from the indigenous community to "sell off" this land?!? You need to explain yourself and your behaviors of late. The selling of this land isn't a decision you get to make. You are going against what is best for Ontario. Beach front development isn't it. Read more

I am opposed to allowing the government to make legislative amendments to the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act (PPCRA) that protects all of Ontario Parks and Conservation Reserves. The PPCRA currently requires that elected MPPs approve any significant removal of provincial park land. Read more

I want Ontario's Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act to remain in place. Citizens of all ages need quieter, green spaces where nature interacts with our lives, bringing peace. Green spaces and wetlands support the evolving food line, and soak up excess rain. Read more

This proposal will leave Piping Plovers and other vulnerable flora and fauna without sufficient protection from unchecked development due to bill C5. This region is Ontarios best nesting ground for this endangered species. Read more

I'm very concerned about the Government of Ontario's proposal that the land at Wasaga Beach – where Piping Plovers nest – be transferred from Ontario Parks to the Town of Wasaga because it will put Ontario’s endangered Piping Plovers at even higher risk. Read more

I am disappointed with the Ontario Government for not taking the environment and endangered species into account when deciding to sell land for more tourism. Wasaga is already a strong tourist destination. I have been in many traffic jams just trying to visit family in the area. Read more

I am writing to strongly oppose the proposed legislative amendments under ERO‑025‑0694, which would remove significant portions of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, including Beach Areas 1, 2, New Wasaga, and Allenwood Beach, and transfer them out of the PPCRA framework to facilitate tourism-focused dev Read more
