Taking away lands from a Provincial Park and vesting them with a municipality for economic growth is a short sited and untenable method for development. This should not happen. Read more

I am a Wasaga Beach resident. The beach needs to be saved and available for all. The piping lovers are still endangered, I'd rather give beach to them. This will not benefit Wasaga Residents or the public who cannot afford to live or stay in these buildings. Read more

The passage of legislation that will enable your government and following governments to carve up our provincial parks in my opinion is an egregious attack on public Commons. You are threatening the whole concept of public ownership of lands, waters, and utilities. Read more

I am totally against Doug Ford selling off ANY parkland in Ontario. If anything, we need more greenspace, we need to protect parks, wetlands and farm lands. What is wrong with this government that they don’t value these lands--other than a bad case of short term thinking?

Wasaga beach and all of ontario’s provincial parks and greenland are valuable homes for wildlife and to allow people to connect to nature, it is not your land to sell, it is the people’s land and as an ontario resident, i am strongly against this!

This is a TERRIBLE proposal. Why is the Ford government not concerned about the environmental impact of this proposal goes through? Displacing animals and turning this land into commercial property for capitalistic gains!! Common sense must be utilized when making these kinds of decisions. Read more

Piping Plovers are worth protecting. They have very few breeding grounds left in the country — don’t destroy a key one in the interest of a temporary bump in tourism. The province’s efforts to scale back protections for endangered species wasn’t enough?! Read more
