I cannot believe that the Ontario Government is considering giving up a part of a Provincial Park. It continues to be mind-boggling what this government will do to sell our precious protected assets. Stop this nonsense right now!!

Wasaga Beach is an important conservation site and needs to be treated as such. I'm concerned that this proposal will remove environmental protection responsibility to those who don't have the right experience or priorities. Read more

Selling provincial park land is a mistake. There are endangered species living on this land, the water is fresh water, and people coexist with the wildlife. We need to keep untouched land so that we keep our environment more safe rather than turning it into condominiums/tech hubs. Read more

Your government doesn't have a record of being able to fairly choose people to sell public land to. I imagine somebody's getting a kickback just like they did with the green belt and the license plates and all the other controversies the Ford government has been involved in. Read more

Do not pass legislation that affects our provincial parks in any way. So many of our young people cannot afford to own property in Canada, and you are making moves to make access to our public spaces more difficult for them. Read more

Dear Mr. Ford. How dare you even consider gutting our natural spaces just to build more for wealthy business people. Wasaga is a staple in our province. We need to maintain and PROTECT our natural spaces. Humans need nature. We are not robots. So do not pave paradise just to put up a parking lot. Read more
