As a retired MNR employee and Ontario Parks staff , I am strongly opposed to this proposed amendment. It is essential that the protect the ecological integrity of our natural areas including the nesting grounds for the Piping Plover.
Somethings need to be protected for years to come, generations, and species. Please keep the beaches of Wasaga protected. It is our obligation to keep the habitat of precious and vital animals and ecosystems.

Selling provincial park land is a mistake. There are endangered species living on this land, the water is fresh water, and people coexist with the wildlife. We need to keep untouched land so that we keep our environment more safe rather than turning it into condominiums/tech hubs.
