How will this protect the plovers, an endangered species that have considered Wasaga a safe nesting area for years? Consider the wildlife and their fauna as we have a duty to protect them.

If you sell Wasaga Beach, the beautiful things in this life will suffer. The wildlife are lose their homes and families will lose their place to gather; the only thing left if you do this will be homes that no one needs. We need to stop making decisions based on short term gain. Read more

Allowing the government to sell Park land sets a dangerous precedent. Removing a shared space that can be used by all and selling it for corporate profit is not in the best interest of Ontario’s residents or Canadians. The environmental impacts and impacts to the community are not worth it. Read more

Don't sell off our provincial parks, especially Wasaga Beach. You did not campaign on this issue or publicize your intent until after you were elected.

I do not believe we should be selling our beachfront off. I believe the beach space should be preserved for the use of the beach as it is a highly popular beach and minimizing the available space will only hurt all those who come to enjoy the space.

I disagree with removing any and all lands belonging to the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park in order to sell this land to developers. This area is very sensitive and should remain in the public domain. Read more

Please leave Wasaga beach as is. It’s a provincial park for a reason and needs to be protected for the next generation.

Another initiative by this provincial government that will encroach on public lands, to be used for the public good. I am unequivocally against this change which would allow the government to once again, ignore their duties to the public and remove key protections from all Provincial Parks.
