Please do not sell our PUBLIC parks!!! They are not to be sold for "investment"! Protect our nature, don't destroy it to build homes.

I am not against tourism or economic growth however not at the expense of yet another bird species. Please protect the habitat of the piping plover by not turning this area over to the town for development. These little birds need our protection. Read more

It's about time that the residents and town council of Wasaga Beach have input and control over the future of the beach front.

LEAVE THE LAND AND BEACHS ALONE!!!!! We have enough infrastructure, but not enough untouched land to last us for future generations. Leave it alone and find something else to do with your multimillion dollars. Maybe use towards benefiting the environment, like planting trees? Saving ecosystems?

Please do not do anything that would jeopardize the piping plover populations that nest at Wasagaming Beach. Birds already face so many challenges to their survival that we need to do everything we can to protect them, especially their nesting habitats.

Doug Ford likes to use the word "protect" a lot when he is discussing his proposals and plans. That is the opposite of what he actually does for nature. He should have no right to sell off any part of our provincial parks. Read more

Transferring this conserved and protected part of shoreline from Ontario Parks to the town of Wasaga Beach for the purpose of development is a shockingly short-sighted proposal. I do not support this at all. Read more

Even though it is about 3% of the park, it is still 3%. Tourism isn't going to stop at Wasaga Beach because of how beautiful the town and beach are. Doing this, will. You've already demolished the boardwalk for a hotel to go in. TERRIBLE idea. Read more

Parts of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park should not be transferred to the Town of Wasaga Beach. This would put critical and most productive habitat for the Endangered Piping Plover at risk and would likely lead to the loss of important ecological habitat. Read more

Mr. Ford, It is alarming that you think it’s OK to cut into provincial parks and conservation areas. It is alarming that you seem to have no concern about endangered species in Ontario. Read more
