Environmental Ecosystems are not something to build over - our natural world is already stressed as it is - leave the wilderness alone and let nature exist in as much harmony and health as it can hold onto. Develop where development has already been and is being neglected.

Ontario Parks is absolutely the right manager for so sacred a place as Wasaga Beach. Better than anyone do they know how to balance what people want and what the rest of the world needs. Keep Wasaga Beach part of Ontario Parks.

I feel protecting the areas at Wasaga beach are a top priority. The environment is essential habitat of Piping Plover. Science based land management needs to be done here. Experts need to be consulted and advice followed for this very important territory. Read more

The piping plovers of Wasaga Beach Ontario will continue to need government support to ensure the survival of this species. The reduction in habitat has dwindled the piping plover to lower than sustainable levels and requires protection and intervention to see improvement. Read more

Please, do not amend the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act for the sake of Tourism. These Migratory Birds need a place to nest and keep their breeding grounds safe. Birds are not like people. They have their territories wired in their system. Read more

I lived in Brockville Ontario for a summer. A town along the St. Lawrence. All I ever heard from the locals was how stupid it was for the town to sell off it's waterfront to private developers. A town on the water with the *tiniest* beach now, where private homes line the shoreline. Read more
