This proposal does not serve the individual municipalities well. Larger oversight of areas means care that is not municipality specific and will be too generalized. Local control means specialized care for our specific concerns. I oppose this proposal! Read more

Amalgamating the conservation authorities is a terrible idea. They are so important and operate from a bioregional/watershed perspective. Having local authority over these conservation authorities is key to ensuring they can protect the environment and prevent flooding in municipalities. Read more
